FIORE Blueberry Balsamic Sorbet

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 quart frozen organic Maine blueberries
  • 2 oz. Absolut Citron
  • 2 oz. fresh lemon juice 4 oz.
  • FIORE Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar

Make simple syrup with 1 cup each of water and sugar boiled for two minutes, until sugar is dissolved and you have a syrupy consistency.

Combine everything except syrup in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Add simple syrup ½ cup at a time, checking flavor after each addition.

Pour mixture into ice cream maker and let thicken, turning every minute or so and transfer to freezer after it thickens enough that the handle is difficult to turn.

***If you do not have an ice cream maker put sorbet into a container and freeze immediately.
