Pasta Marella is entirely family run, a few kilometers away from Bari, Italy. They produce traditional Apulian hand-made and bronze die extruded pastas using only local durum wheat semolina and other ingredients, and dried at low temperatures. The resulting product has a wonderful aroma and texture superior to other small produced pastas.
This pasta is a combination of many different examples of various shapes and colors of pasta made in Bari. This pasta is handmade using several different vegetable purees added into the pasta dough. The translation of this name is literally “odds and ends” – what an interesting whimsical mix of oversized and small pasta bits and bobs! Use in mac & cheese, soups, stews or with your favorite sauce.
